Girls Trip to Disneyland
Last March I was in California for a shoot when I, impulsively, purchased a Disneyland season pass. I knew that if I had one, I would go as often as I was able. I must say, even a year later, that it was one of my better purchases (if only I would have gotten one for Mitchell so that he could have joined in on the fun).
My sister and I have enjoyed making our way to Disneyland together, but this trip we thought we'd throw in a cousin and a friend just to make it that much more fun. We laughed and laughed this entire trip, and I will always be glad for the memories I made with Kennedy, Chloe, Mica, and sometimes, Chance. Most especially the memories where we found ourselves laughing so hard our bladders were weak.
The first day we got into California we enjoyed a lunch at good old In n' Out, then hung at the beach to watch the sun go down. On Thursday, we made our way to Disneyland and I've never seen it so empty! The clouds must have scared all of the crowds away, but we were not complaining. We got into the park at 9 am and had ridden almost every single ride we wanted to by 11 am! We even rode Guardians of the Galaxy 3 times WITHOUT fast passes. That almost never happens.
Our second day at Disney was also a blast. We took it slow and hit everything that we wanted to, and also got some of our favorite treats. Kennedy and I have been dying to try the infamous peanut butter sandwich for months now, but it has always been sold out by the time we wanted a treat. This trip, because it wasn't as busy, we were able to get one every day! Worth it. I can't wait to go back one day and eat only peanut butter sandwiches. Jk.
On Saturday we woke up and made our way to Newport Beach. I love it there! It brings back so many good memories of vacationing there as a child with my family. Nostalgia!! We had a little photoshoot near the pier, then got on the road.
There are too many amazing memories and jokes to count. I am so glad I was able to escape "real life" and enter the Happiest Place on Earth for a few days.
